Computer Repair & Retail Technician

We are looking for a hands-on technician – someone who knows how to bring computers back to life. If you’re passionate about computer repair and enjoy turning your hobby into a profession, this role is for you.

In this position, your primary focus will be diagnosing, repairing, upgrading and restoring computers (both hardware and software). You will be the go-to person in our repair shop, while also supporting day-to-day operations in the store when needed.

Job Requirements


MBO-level education in IT, electronics, or equivalent hands-on experience, with proven experience or strong interest in computer repair. Solid knowledge of hardware, troubleshooting, and Windows systems is required. Fluent in Papiamento and English; Dutch and Spanish are a plus. Flexible to work varying hours, including Saturdays.

  • Education: EPI in IT, electronics, or similar – or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience or strong affinity with computer repair (hardware & software). Retail or IT support experience is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of computer hardware, troubleshooting, and Windows systems.
  • Languages:
    • Fluent in Papiamento and English (spoken and written)
    • Dutch and Spanish are a plus
  • Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours, including Saturdays

Key Responsibilities


Diagnose and repair computer hardware and software issues, including upgrading and troubleshooting components. Manage daily repair shop operations, handle customer inquiries, and maintain accurate service records. Provide in-store assistance, product advice, and professional, customer-focused technical solutions.

  • Manage and operate the repair shop, ensuring efficient handling of all repair jobs.
  • Assist customers in-store with product advice and purchases when required.
  • Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone and register service tickets.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and customer interactions.
  • Provide professional, customer-focused solutions to technical problems.
